Cars and trucks routinely drive in excess of 50mph on this small, residential section of 13th street, between Reed and Dickinson. We have over 20 small children, most under 5 years old, living on this block. Posted/enforced speed limits, "children playing" signage, AND speed bumps will help to prevent child fatalities from the unnecessary speeding traffic.

I'm so glad this is getting some attention. I can walk outside my door at ANY given time of day and watch drivers, usually on cell phones, speeding in excess of 60 mph between stop signs in this one-block section. We had a small reprieve from this maniacal behavior during the re-surfacing of the roadway this last year. With so many children on the block, speed bumps will really help prevent accidents!
