Description

National grid recently did repair work on Highland by Cherry Hill. The patch deteriorated and today NG did a complete repair with a paving company. My question is why the double standard on road repairs between city and state? The state seems to ensure proper patch repair , as they also did after the water break by the animal hospital , but the city allows these road openings to get worse and worse. Why? Contractors need to do proper repairs rather than city workers patching roads that have been ruined by various contractors. Salem taxpayers should not pay for work that contractors are responsible to repair. How does the state get it done but the city cannot?
