I agree. I am a Nonotuck Street resident as well. Something needs to be done, bringing my property value down!

There are several properties around Chicopee that are blighted and they don't seem to have any pressure from the city to do anything about it such as the old Paradise Pizza building on Springfield St. They burn and the remains stay to rot.

The 196 Nonotuck looks worse than ever! How are properties like this allowed to exist? Same for Paradise Pizza. Someone needs to get proactive on these properties as it's embarrassing enough to have these as part of our neighborhood!

This property is still and eyesore and obviously abandoned. Owners have now removed the disheveled hedge that surrounded the property. Hopefully, more remediation is on the way. I assume this is bank owned.

A receiver has submitted a rehab plan.

Just curious if this receiver's idea of a rehab plan meant totally trashing this property. The only positive was the giant hedge was removed. Since then, it seems each and every window is in process of being broken. How is this a rehab plan? This property is devaluing this neighborhood by continuing to be a blighted property.

Somebody bought this house last year it looks fine now.
