Build-up of debris, natural and non-natural, occurring at bridge-type culvert near corner of NE 105th St and 8th Ave NE. Effects of stream blockage and debris accumulation is pronounced during times of elevated water levels resulting from heavy rains. Bridge-culvert should be, in the least, retrofitted or expanded to allow for stream's natural role in protecting downstream marshland to preserve greater Thornton Creek ecosystem.
