You know the phrase "Two wrongs don't make a right." It is true that there are people that do not stop for the sign along with speeding and parking of commercial vehicles on the streets at off business hours are on going issues, all of which need to be enforced with a police presence more often in the Longview Road neighborhood. Parking of any kind next to the Longview/Hillcrest intersection is just another accident waiting to happen, not to mention that is also a sight-line safety issue to pedestrians and motorists alike, as well as making it more difficult for longer delivery trucks trying to negotiate the turn with an obstacle in place.
Furthermore, it seems that Public Safety and Zoning Enforcement need to be more proactive instead of waiting to be called for violations that have existed for a long time.
