I don't understand an issue has been reported that is both codes and animal related, why it would be closed. The fence and decaying structure would be a codes issue even if the treatment of the dog is inhumane. A response to close and call animal services in less than 24 hours is indicative of the lack of interest and passing the buck mentality of the St. Petersburg administration.
You have given city residents a tool to use why not take some initiative and do the right thing. The city promotes "See Something, Say Something" but apparently lacks the interest to "Do Something". Without the "Do Something" why would anyone "See Something, Say Something". Thank you for your overwhelming interest in this matter. Now please do something rather than tell me to do something else,

I agree if they are requesting people use a reporting tool and then don't do anything with it, whats the point. St Petersburg is atrocious in not handling animals in distress calls.

I did do a survey for Animal Services and gave you an F rating as you are more worried about yourselves than concern for animals in distress. So many times I have contacted you in regard to dog being used as possible bait dogs and you do nothing. Your Department is nothing but a disgrace and a sham to animal welfare!!!!

Rico- If you want to report several issues, you will have to submit several complaints. It seems the system only responds to 1 issue per complaint. Your complaint should be resubmitted as 2 different complaints. Report the fence on its own.

Rico- make 2 complaints. That way codes enforcement can handle 1, and animal control can handle the other.

Is this your standard response to anything animal related call Pinellas county.org animals? It's probably a good reason why their are so many abused and neglected animals in St Pete to begin with as you can't be bothered investigating any reports of abuse or inhumane animal treatment.
