All these complaints don't seem to do any good. NONE of these have been fixed. I popped a brand new tire and the City said they don't have the funds to reimburse me. I filled out the forms as instructed, notarized the paperwork and mailed it in. Why bother having me do all that if they weren't going to pay. All we can do, it seems, is to warn people not to go down any of these streets. This is CRAZY.
It seems that this administration has its priorities mixed up. They are constructing new sidewalks and paving streets in the area of Omaha Ave and East 36th Street. I heard that a politician lives in that neighborhood. Oberlin Ave should have been fixed years ago. Instead it was patched up in a way that it seems nothing was ever done to it. But, come election year millions of dollars will be spent in propaganda to lure votes. For that purpose there is plenty of money but not to provide essential services. Is there a capable politician in this city? Ashland Ave was partially paved a couple of years ago because the administration was forced to do it since the sewerage pipes collapsed in that area.
