Ali,
When you say you spoke to Shane, is that the homeowner? Are you saying that you have been waiting to hear back from the city to move forward in removing the tree? Are you a neighbor to the the home owner? Sorry for all the questions, but I am trying to understand this situation. I am considering sending this to the news for coverage and perhaps getting help for the people in the home. I just don't know if they want help??

Selenia,
Shane is the employee who I spoke with in the tree permit division. I am the homeowner and have been trying to pull the permit for the tree removal to get it down and no one from the city is responding. I’ve called and emailed many times, I’ve reached out the action line and cannot get through. I am trying to do the right thing and pull and pay for the permit and they will not respond. Feel free to send it to the news I have heard that many people are having this issue including a guy in the news after the storm this weekend that did hcs a tree fall from the winds and he had been trying to pull a permit for the tree that fell.
