Description

Dangerous deep drain. Children could drown. Adults too. No top. At end of Ella Grasso Blvd. Next to Beaver Pond.

Yes! I was going to post about this too. It is right at the intersection of Crescent and Ella T Grasso Blvd. Right next to SCSU. It is the very corner of Beaver Pond right before the parking lot for SCSU. It is VERY dangerous.

I called the NHPD at 203-946-6316 and told them about the issue. The gentleman with whom I spoke said someone would go to the location to see what can be done.

Parks found the missing manhole cover- seemed a car drove over it and damaged the entire top. We secured the trip/fall hazard. DPW is in the process of finding a new manhole cover which fits.
