Description
Resident at 45 Mill Rock rd complained about 2 trees that has been decaying for sometime. There is a pruning notice placed on 10/11/2018. The condition of these trees might have changed. Could you please have it re-inspected at your earliest convenience?

I hope the Tree Warden is responsive. I placed the following service request re dead tree on Mill Rock on hamden.com on June 6th 2017 but nothing has been done. Tree Warden told me on the phone that someone would be out to take a look within 2 weeks and that I would hear from them, which I never did.
"There is a large Norway Maple tree adjacent to the border of my property (980 Prospect Street) on Mill Rock Road (the second tree west of my garage. The tree is dead. I had a certified arborist at the house today and he strongly suggested I contact both the Town and United Illuminating (I will notify them now as well). In addition to my concern about safety given that I have young children, the tree is along the sidewalk and the street and its upper half is resting directly on the utility wires.
I hope this concern can be addressed expeditiously."

Dear Jeremy Schwartz,
Due to the up coming snow storm the estimated time of inspection can be delayed. If two weeks has passed and there are no updates on this request please feel free to contact the Tree Warden or myself in the Mayor's Office (203-287-7100). If the tree is over power lines then UI must be contacted and coordinate the removal of limbs with the Tree Warden. Though you have hired certified arborists a separate inspection must be done by the Town of Hamden.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to resolve your issue.

I need to edit two pieces of information from the original post. The two trees that were noted - one is in front of our house and the other is actually in front of our neighbor's house (51 mill Rock rd). The tree in front of her house lost a huge limb couple years ago and fell on her front yard brick wall, and the tree was never removed despite repeated complaining and my neighbor fixed her brick wall out of pocket. The same tree lost another huge limb this past winter and that fell on my neighbor's car parked in our driveway. We need this tree removed. The other tree in front of our house lost its limbs for the first time this winter and it fell on the street completely blocking passage. This tree needs to be removed too because it is failing too. As for the pruning/tree removal sign that was placed on the tree in front of my house, this was not done in Oct 2018 but Oct 2016, almost 2 years ago. Then the sign blew/tore off because of the winter.
I look forward to hearing from Anthony Greene soon. I will be calling if I don't hear in the next couple days. Thanks.
