Description

It has been well over adequate time since the blizzard and there have been multiple warm days since. The Mayor asked all sidewalks be cleared by Wednesday 2-20-13. By not clearing your sidewalks, you are creating dangerous situations for other tax paying residents when they need to move into the streets to pass the snow.

Thanks for nothing East Haven. I had to wait until the weather was warm enough to melt the snow- even the pile on the sidewalk directly across from the Town Hall itself! Let's hope that the town enforces the 24 hour policy if we do indeed get snow in the next few days. I expect more from my Town Hall and fellow citizens. Perhaps I set my expectations too high.
