I find it ironic that we pay our city taxes I’ll text dollars go to finding the schools yet the city has no say over there public schools and the Board of Education doesn’t seem to care about the disrepair of their property that was just remodeled and paid for by the tax dollars of the citizens of New Haven 10 years ago we have retaining walls with a broken holes in the playground kids can get hurt we have drug baggies all over the place never picked up garbage and debris broken tree up tree limbs one tree completelyDown on that side for more than two weeks near entrances to the school where if there was a fire drill kids had to get out quickly they would get tangled up in that tree I don’t know what happened to the city but it does not seem to care about the important things he cares about all the stupid little things I for one don’t even have children yet I’m paying for those schools to look at them and see them in disrepair makes me sick
