What was done on this issue?

We are in the process of conducting a comprehensive study of the larger area surrounding this street to determine if (and where) street lighting deficiencies may exist in order to give Duke Energy a Work Request that encompasses the entire area.

A comprehensive analysis of the neighborhoods encompassing 78th Ave. to 88th Ave. and US19 to 49th St. has been completed. A Work Request has been submitted to Duke Energy (DE) to install seventeen (17) new street lights in deficient areas (including two (2) on the 4300 block of 81st Ave.). DE lead times for new street lights has been running around 12 months.
