The street cracked where the concrete meets the asphalt on Commonwealth. The concrete portion of the street sank a couple of inches, which broke the curb and ultimately the driveway.

The city has halfway patched the cracks/holes in the street several times, but it doesn't last.

The concrete probably cracked due to the freeze/thaw cycles in the winter.

I think that the city has financially bootstrapped itself with the Bishop Park project. Then the recession did not help any. The current administration has its own agenda for sure and not very responsive to citizens' concerns.

This is what we just down the way have been putting up with for a couple of years in the front yards of two of my neighbors on Augusta Cove. That really looks terrible, too.
