  I went through the drive through last night and there's practically an oil spill there. Can the City send out an inspector to ensure that have proper storm water practices in place?

  Agreed. Their customers leave a mess up and down San Pablo. They should be required to have their employees do regular sweeps of the neighborhood for trash as well as have more trash bins available outside.

  You should contact Alameda Co Environmental Heath 567-6700, Also file a complaint with Oakland Building Code Enforcement 238-3381. The MacDonald's in the Dimond was shut down due to public health and garbage issues. Litter from there customers was unbearable and no amount of trash cans would have helped. They are not missed.

  Agreed, this is a huge problem for the residents of 66th and San Pablo, each week the sidewalk and road is littered with trash from McDonalds customers.

  PWD will not refer these issues also PWD does not pick up litter its hard enough to get them to clean up the bulk dumping. Code enforcement 238-3381 Alameda Count Environmental heath 567-6700 the more people who call and complain the better FYI you have to stay on code enforcement. I doubt this Mc Donald's would pass a health inspection. Would you eat there???

  Does Oakland's City Council have any responses to this? The McDonalds on 66th is becoming a source of trash that is now decorating the entire street. In addition to the trash they are encouraging homeless to gather around the exits of the drive through with signs which is also bringing in cars and RV's that the homeless are living in.

  This is such a nice neighborhood and the customers of Mcdonalds don’t respect it at all and the trash is lowering the quality and value as a nice Oakland neighborhood!!! Please at more trash cans or encourage throwing items away!

  No there isn't. I'm trying to find time to create a petition to the City and to the McDonald's owner as I think that will hold more weight. I'm getting the sense that SCF is really just a way to make people feel they are being heard, when in reality it doesn't do much to sway their opinion. I just found this:

  Mcdonalds had to obtain a conditional use permit with conditions relating to litter abatement in the area. Can the planning department provide a copy of the conditions to this thread so we can understand how to bring them into compliance? The CUP should be 3-years old and still current.

  You can also contact nuisance abatement 238-6370. If you can get enough evidence photos, video and petition from the neighborhood you can request revocation of there CUP.

  Someone needs to contact the staff planner David Velaska to initiate a compliance review. The conditions in the permit clearly specify abatement locations, the installation of additional street cans, etc. David's email is dvaleska@oakJandnct.cotn There should have been a litter management plan produced prior to the finalization of the permit.

  Mcdonalds trash is getting worse over the past few weeks. We are finding more and more Mcdonalds wrappers, cups and paper bags along 66th st.
