There is an adjoining vacant lot on the east side of my property that had significant tree damage during Hurricane Irma last September. The felled trees may well present a fire danger during this dry season we are in. While this may be an owner responsibility, my understanding is that the lot owner is a foreign citizen living in Europe. Something must be done to protect my property as well as other properties that adjoin this lot both to the east and to the north, and I suspect the homes across the street to the south could be in peril as well.
