The owner went through the appropriate permitting process and has every right to operate the sign. Perhaps anger should be directed at the city officials who approved the permit rather than advertisers and owner. If there are no City bylaws restricting use of similar billboards, perhaps activity should be focused in that direction. Finally, disrespectful and vulgar are not terms all residents would necessarily apply to this situation.
