This issue has not been resolved completely. They smoothed the bridge joint at California Ave.overpass, but that is the only one that appears to have been worked on. They neglected to take care of any of the other bridge joints. I discussed ALL bridge joints between 1-80 and 201, north and south bound. The joint issue spans across all lanes.

Thank you for your response. These are currently being filled with patching material and were done so again based off of this current complaint. The smoothing we did on all the joints between 201 and 80 were done late this last year. We are aware that the "zipper" style joint is failing on all these structures. With the project slated for this coming year for the barrier replacement from 201, to the county line Northbound, Structures will be doing work on these expansion joints. In the interim, we will continue to place QPR (patching material) to help the transitions on the joints. We appreciate your patience as our crews our working daily to keep this functioning as best as we can until this project is complete. Drive safely.

This area is on a routine maintenance schedule for patchwork. It is slated for a project with structures for repair this Spring. We will continue on this maintenance schedule as needed in the interim until the project is complete.
