It was finally nice enough weather to ride my bike to work last week, so I did BUT it was NOT nice riding it in our bike lanes due to all of the broken glass and litter on them. Why don’t we have weekly street cleaning on the bike lanes from the bridge by IKEA to the Public Market? BOTH sides always have either broken glass or rocks in them that can easily cause a flat tire or an accident.

When does street cleaning come on that street? I’ve looked for street cleaning signs but none are posted. Please help make that stretch of bike riding more of a pleasure than a headache.
Since it’s Easter this weekend, maybe the Easter bunny will leave us bike riders clean bike lanes on Shellmound street instead of Easter Eggs..... Now that will be the best Easter gift I’ve had in a long time.
