Eastbound Sloat Blvd. between Upper Great Highway and Skyline is now the main route for anyone trying to get onto Skyline since the direct route via Upper Great Highway has been shut-down due to beach/cliff erosion.

Drivers needing to get to Skyline treats this segment of road by violating the 35 MPH speed limit (usually at 45), make aggressive lane changes to 'cut-off' drivers in the right lane, make a rapid three lane change from the far left lane to the far right lane, failure to signal a lane change, and tailgating.
