Need more police presence in the area during heavy traffic hours (like a.m. school zone and PM after 5pm - this is a cut-through street and not safe for anyone to cross the street unless they have 10 eyes. Impatient drivers cutting from Flagler to SW 8th street and vice-versa speed down this street that has no speed bumps or traffic circles to deter this type of behavior. This is a street with a school and a city park. This needs to be addressed. Police cameras/speed readers or more police presence to ticket those who speed and do rolling stops would be great. Cars race down the street to save a minute and are dangerous to the residents who are mostly elderly. This is not OK and the city needs to look at this.

Still no resolution. No traffic circle, no speed bumps, no speed cameras, nothing being done about this. Still heavy traffic on SW 60th Avenue between SW 8th Street and Flagler Street. Still speeding cars during school hours (early morning) and afternoons after 4pm (which incidentally, after school care at the elementary school and park on SW 60th Avenue ends at 6pm, during peak traffic and speed thru hours). I think this issue needs to be left OPEN until there is either more some type of video recording device / speed measuring device is put in place so the city is aware of the problem, or speed bumps or traffic circles are put on this street. More police presence to witness what happens would be nice --- undercover unmarked police! Thank You.

Would love to get a speed monitor placed on SW 60th Avenue (the type that is digital, monitors cars speeding and says "your plate is being read." Please, the city really needs to address this. White and Black large 4x4 trucks (Silverado type) drag racing in the evening down our street. Also happening on SW 61st avenue. This is unacceptable and the residents should not be subjected to this. City of Miami police presence please. They drag race from SW 6th Street all the way to SW 8th Street (Tamiami Trail). Every night you can hear the loud engines and the same trucks fly down our street with no consequence.

Still having the same issue but this has not been addressed since there are no roundabouts nor speed bumps planned for SW 60 Avenue (which has an elementary school AND a public park with kids crossing all the time). Closing this issue and hoping that the city will actually pay attention to the concerns of the citizens.
