I will meeting with the general contractor today to discuss what construction debris (Pallet and wood) is located in the creek.
Regarding the plastic bottles, soda cans, etc... those items can enter the creek from upstream from W. Ponce de Leon, W. Trinity Place, Electric Avenue, Swanton Way and Commerce Drive.

Please also check the stream bank on the construction project side. The trash I saw there (styrofoam food containers and what looked like protective packing material for fixtures, etc., some visible in the photos) was above any recent high water line and seems more likely to have come from workers at the site than from upstream sources. There is also trash in the run-off area (city right of way between project and first single-family house) at the north end of the project.

Thrive Homes is currently working to remove the trash and the wood from the creek. Hopefully, it will be completed by the end of the week.
