Since it's illegal to smoke at the bus stop, smokers need a place to put out their cigarettes. Instead of removing the holders, how about putting sign reminding the smokers to stop smoking in the area and responsibly put out their cigarettes? As many butts as I pick up from the ground and sidewalk around Hickey Blvd bus stops, it's not the presence of butt holders that's making people smoke.
