Description
I have witnessed and almost been involved in several accidents at this extremely dangerous intersection. The people who have the stop signs get so angry waiting long periods of time to go wrecklessly pull out and almost cause accidents. I understand it is frustrating to wait so long to pull out, but people get so mad, they almost don't care if they almost hit you. They feel they should go because they have been waiting so long, even if they don't have the right of way. A traffic light is needed at this intersection before there is a fatal accident. I am terrified of this intersection.

this should be fixed with a traffic light.
in addition speed signs of 30mph should be posted on ballston avenue (route 50) on both sides of road.
many vechicles and trucks speed at night to over 60 70 mph...

There is a public comment period before every city council meeting. Make it your business to stand before the city council and tell them, "before someone gets killed just trying to cross a street....".

The city used to have great freestanding signs that marked the downtown pedestrian crosswalks in the summer. Where are they? Why not dig those out and use them at Ballston Ave. and Lincoln Ave. after the crosswalk gets some much needed white lines.
Lots can be done but there has to be a willingness to change and move forward. So let's all "MAKE SOME NOISE".
