Description
Wooden posts cut away and never replaced with "new and improved" (?) metal ones on Green River Trail. This has been like this for months. Near Complete Office co.
Like previous report, did the installation crew give up?
Cones keep getting knocked over into bike trail...

Your request has been received and has been assigned to the Tukwila Parks and Recreation Department. Here is an update on the situation regarding these bollards. The plan is to remove the wooden bollards completely however we are needing to wait until the wood is less saturated with water as they will not slide out as needed to replace them. These bollards were removed originally to allow access for geotechnical drilling equipment which would not fit underneath the bridge decks to the east and west of the bollard location. These are scheduled to be replaced with the removable yellow metal bollards found throughout Tukwila sections of the Green River Trail. At the moment they are scheduled for mid May.
Thank you again for using Tukwila Works to help to make our community a better place by notifying City staff of this issue.

Wood should be dry by now. What is the hold up?
