SInce the bus halts near Chase Bank and there are no zebra crossing marks for the pedestarians who alight from the bus . During stop light when one has to cross the road to go to Pricerite or other stores ,it becomes difficult to cross with the oncoming traffic in both the directions .One has to raise the hand to cross to know the vehicles to slow down.

Questions about: construction projects; to request a new traffic signal or signage; to request an adjustment in the timing sequence on a State traffic signal; or to speak to a staff member.

Is anybody still working on the report filed or written on 4/10/18 regarding pedestrians "crossing road marks" needed on the Boston Avenue across from Chase Bank to the shopping plaza which caters to shoppers at Price Rite and other stores . ?
Since it is an serious matter concerning the safety of the people alighting from the bus to cross the road for their shopping needs .
Please have some one from the PWD and DOT to visit and inspect the scenario before there is an road accident waiting to happen .

Yes it is for existing crosswalk but the crossing marks are either fading or missing at the traffic stoplights .
Besides the requested markings are for better and safer movement by the bus commuters .
The general public at large who go to the shopping plaza for their shopping or banking needs at People's United Bank or for their Dentist's appointments or grocery shopping or for kids and women's apparel purchase to those stores in the neighbourhood near Price Rite markets .
