Chiming in to agree. This is impossible to cross lately. I can't even imagine what we are going to do when we have to navigate it with a five year old this fall. It's a trillion times worse than when we first moved here.

I often ride my bike to work using the Fellsway. The intersection at Highland and Fellsway is always terrifying even though the speed limit is supposed to be 25. Too many people are using this area as a means to bypass traffic on 93.

We had an officer up there earlier today. He has been assigned to return to that area.

The rotary here really needs to be replaced with a light. The traffic and speeding are really nutty. Also, no one knows who has the right of way. I've seen many blow by the yield sign and had to slam on my breaks to prevent an accident, or others go up the street the wrong way around it. People come flying down the Fells as well.

The Fellsway East and Highland Av interchange is actually an intersection. It is commonly mistaken for a rotary. This intersection falls under the jurisdiction of the State, which is maintained by the MassDOT and enforced by the Mass State Police. I believe that the State has completed a study and has decided to make this intersection controlled by actual traffic lights. You could probably obtain more information by contacting The Mass Department of Transportation(MassDOT.)
