I want to thank you for "grading" the road last week. However, at the very first rain fall, the road is back in disrepair. Is there anything we can do?

as we head into winter, I am still concerned about the state of our road. With grading happening less often, is there perhaps a more permanent solution?

We try to grade and fill the dirt roads twice a year, i know it does not last as long as they should due to the fact that we do not have an actual grader to shape the roads so the water will run off. These roads are basically private and it would be up to the residents who live on it to make more permanent repairs.

Since I am sure that we pay the same property tax as those with paved roads and we don't get mail service to our door...it is the least the town could do, to insure that our roads are safe and will not destroy our cars - thank you!

If there was a cost involved to "repair" the road, would the town do it and would the residents be allowed to pay for some of it? We are desperate!

I agree! I live on Birch Rd and we are desperate to get this road fixed! Please repair this road.

The potholes that cover the entire road are almost a foot deep so you can imagine how hard it is for the residents to drive a car or ride a stroller on this road! Can the potholes be filled with gravel before grading the entire road so the the road does not become this bad at the first rain.
