Description

A house,(477, and 479), on Stevens St.yesterday knocked down a wall, which was the demarcation line of the property, and the public sidewalk, to create a driveway, for a few cars.
It not only is another eyesore, for the neighborhood to put up with, it is also a danger to pedestrians, especially schoolchildren, from St. Margaret's, and the Daley school.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Someone should be monitoring this throughout the city better. It is happening in every neighborhood and even when reported it seems the city allows it to go on. There is also another thread about this same issue. https://seeclickfix.com/issues/211121 I know the city does not have enough inspectors but when citizens share the city's responsibility to enforce the code why are those citizen reports seemingly ignored?
