This does not solve the problem. The city workers who originally installed the metal plate said they would "forward my issue to the Department of Public Utilities..." But, it has been over a year since this claim and we have not had anyone come out to fix the problem. This case needs to be reopened.

Why isn't The Department of Public Utilities assigning a service request ID number to this issue right here on this website?

Why can't you just answer my question about this issue? I have called The Department of Public Utilities numerous times about this issue and never received a service request ID number. Do they not monitor this site and help citizens deal with issues like this directly? I simply want to know why they have not responded to me in the past about this and have not made good on their promises to tae care of the problem.
