I've contacted Council and the school board still has responsibility for this property even though it's closed. Please contact Councilman Lee Jones (Councilman for District 6 and Council President) and let him know that the property has become a safety concern for children and residents in the area. I did see police at the school this past week questioning people in the parking lot, although they may have been parked there while their children used the playground. Highwood-LeBaron Neighborhood watch will target this for a clean up. Thanks for posting.
