Hello, this is a sensitive topic for us and many others but my family and I do not like living in terror and continue to get harassed by people in our neighborhood.
We just don't know what to do!
We see adults and kids hanging out on our fence and in our property. They also throwing trash like nips, or food or pour soda on our front lawn, calling us racist names (which I will not mention), stealing our holiday decorations and our deliveries (I'm 100% sure because i saw them steal it and I had to chase them down for it).
We are fairly new and greeted everyone we see. We respect everyone's space and area and do what we have to do to keep our area clean for the community.
We are at a loss and if anyone can help with any advice, or help, it would be very much appreciated.
I hate to see my younger siblings feeling scared to play outside just because of older kids kicking around our property. We all work all the time and almost never home. We witness different encounters of these harassment. And people who do that to us, think it's funny to call us racist names. It's just so disrespectful.

We tried calling the police but they said we have to collect evidence and so we're working on that. we got cameras installed. It's just hard when they stole my packages or my decorations for the holidays. It would happen so fast. And as for city hall, I have not tried contacting them yet. But I think that's my next step too
And thank you for showing your concerns. I just feel so awful because we moved to this neighborhood to feel more safe and have more space and have fun. This is definitely not something we had in mind to happen.
