Thank you for submitting your concern to the City of Ypsilanti. Your concerns are very important to us. I have contacted the Code Enforcement Officer who informed me that he sent a letter to the party in question last week with a copy of an illustration of what is necessary - if the work is not complete by the 27th, the City will hire a contractor to trim the shrubs and bill them for the work.

The property has been informed as of 4/13 and has until 4/27 to fix the violation. If not I will have the City Contractor bring the property up to code according to City Code Sec. 122-675

What a disgrace and a terrible reflection on the code enforcement officer and City of Ypsilanti. This took many requests (Check your records.) and way too long (Original request was @2 years ago.)! I’m not pleased! Please do your job more efficiently and conscientiously. My taxes deserve better service.
