That would make for a whole new traffic pattern. I agree it is an unsafe intersection. When you are pulling out onto Carolina Beach Rd. no matter which direction you are going, you can't see vehicles coming towards your left. New people do not realize that is a very sharp turn and go to fast to turn right onto St. Andrews.

the problem I see is that drivers wanting to turn left from St. Andrews Rd onto CBeach Rd do not yield to drivers wanting to turn left from CBeach Rd onto St.A Rd. They stack up two or three cars deep in the median, then no one can see. They could easily turn left at the street before CBeach Rd and make their way to the light at CBeach and Silva Terra...much safer on everyone...but most people don't have the patience these days.
