Description
In general, Leverett Road is in TERRIBLE shape and in desperate need of repaving. This is a narrow road with no sidewalks or substantial shoulder despite lots of pedestrian and bike traffic in addition to cars. Given that it is between a parking lot off of Bridge St. and a Franklin Country bikeway, it's a popular biking route. It's current condition is just asking for an accident to occur. Beyond patching the pothole, I would like to know the town's plan for this section of roadway, because the years of patchwork are no longer sufficient.

Perhaps the five year plan mentioned by Mr Skeels while briefing the Select Board contains a resurfacing date for Leverett Road. Presumably the five year plan contains road repair plans for the entire 5 year period from 2018-2022.
As matter of public interest, please post, on the DPW website, the planned road repairs that are a part of the five year plan.
