The whole speed bump thing needs to be retested. The kids have learned how to go around them. The testing you did when they first went in the kids didn't know but now they've learned how to manipulate the speed bumps.

I think a good way to fix this is send an officer around those hours . This way students will drive safety and follow the speeds limits on the parking lots.

I agree about the speed bumps. They are a joke. You can see cars not even applying their brakes and just driving around the speed bumps as they speed down the road.

Thank you for reporting this issue to the City of Dixon. Staff reviewed traffic speeds on Harvard Drive after the speed humps were installed and found that the critical speed for southbound traffic decreased from 32 mph to 24 mph and northbound from 37 mph to 30 mph. The speed survey included 19,759 vehicle samples collected Monday, February 5, 2018 through Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
