City workers are at it again. They used some phone polls and some street signs, but they hit the older trees too. The trees we planted last year were treated to strings. So this is progress, but we need to keep going.

From my understanding the DPW is aware, but its subcontractors are not always compliant.
Stapling could perforate the trees natural protection against disease, like our skin.
There is evidence that it is harmful.
