My name is Jim Ford and I am the Director of Traffic for the Burlingame Police Department. I will make sure we address this abandoned vehicle in the next couple of days. State law requires the police department to mark the tires and warn the owner of the vehicle. After 72 hours, if the vehicle is not moved 1/10 of a mile, we can tow the vehicle.

The vehicle was marked as abandon today. If the vehicle is still at the same location after approx. 72 Hours, the car can be legally towed.

The Burlingame Police Department checked the area and the vehicle is gone from the neighborhood.
