Extensive construction on the 2900 68th Avenue garage. No visible permit. Piles of garbage. The owner of the property representative Michael Long stated that he has the backing of the Mayor and Steve Kornell of the City Council so one can complain as much as one can ..............too bad!

The workers at the constriction site this morning. NO permit posted!

Extensive constriction at 2900 68th Avenue South has been started on 04/23 and continues throughout Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. NO permit posted. The same "friendly" inspector has been assigned to the case again. 04/26 the inspector made a note "Permit is in process." Does someone need a permit BEFORE construction started?

Today the construction at 2900 68th Avenue South is in progress. On 04/26 the inspector made a note that permit is "STILL ON HOLD FOR N.O.C.".... ???? Strange!

Construction at 2900 28th Avenue South continues daily .... including weekends.......
There is NO permit issued!
There is a comment from the same inspector dated 05/07 "PERMIT REMAINS ON HOLD FOR NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT."
Any comments from the city officials?

Codes has sent a violation notice to the owner for not having the permit in an "approved" status however, all the plans have been reviewed and approved by Construction Services. The Notice of Commencement is document that is required to be filed before inspections can be scheduled.
