Description
This may be something that the city would have to work on with the province (my understanding is that the province takes care of all provincial highways through the city) but the south to east bound turning advance needs to be activated. I see that there is a 4th light on the lights so I can only assume it may just be a quick fix. Durning peak hours I have regular witnessed traffic backed up past the Salmond Fire Station because only 2-3 cars can turn at a time. Thanks.

I've been beating this drum for a couple months now. I've submitted it here and been told to call the province. Then I call the province only to be told "this light is controlled by the city". When I told her that I was directed to her by city staff, I was told "some of the city staff just don't know what they're talking about". Will somebody just activate the north/south advance left turn? It doesn't really seem like a difficult concept to work with. It backs up 15-20 cars deep at many times during the day.
This is a major safety concern for all city residents in the area. If a fire truck ever needed to get out and travel south, it would not be able to get through as traffic is bunched up really tight, all trying to get through the light.
