I agreed. This traffic lights should have stay on green longer on Rt-44 to allow traffics to keep flowing north/southbound. Many times there were trucks slowly alterate the gas when the lights turns green to speed up and then red lights came on shortly after 10th cars. This cuts off a long strand of cars and trucks around peak times.
This may have been changed since you posted but the light is triggered by traffic on either side of 44 at Girdled, if there is no traffic waiting 44 has a green light and right of way.
I agree with this comment. Also, when crossing over Auburn Road from Route 44 when on Girdled Road, there is a horrendous pothole on the edge of the road that I am so lucky to hit each and every stinking day. Please fill it with something.
