Thanks very much for your post. I am happy to answer your question about why this issue is not currently displayed on the Daily Press's widget: some SeeClickFix issues are displayed on the website of the Daily Press so that citizens can see a few of the issues that others citizens feel are important. The issues displayed on that web page are constantly being updated, and the issues with the most recent activity are the ones displayed. If you'd like this issue to be displayed on the Daily Press's SeeClickFix widget, the best thing to do would be to start getting other citizens to vote that they would like to see this issue fixed too! The more people who are following an issue, the more page views, comments, and other activity there will be.

I see that it has been some time since you reported this issue, though you have yet to receive a response from the Public Watchers in this area. At the time you first reported it, the Virginia Department of Transportation was the only public watcher in this area. Though the issue itself was not located in West Point, West Point appears at the top of the page because it is the closest town for which we have a community page. Since then, a watch area has been made for Sheriff John Charboneau and he has been sent a notification.

Please give Sheriff Charboneau some time to respond. If time passes and you feel that no action is being taken to remedy this issue, feel free to contact me at andrew@seeclickfix.com and we can look at other avenues for potential action.
