Description
I’ve reported a major leak on the corner of my block 3 weeks ago. The leak is under a side walk, and the water company representatives come out, and said, they believe it’s a residential leak, being that the water is coming from the residential side of the sidewalk. 3 weeks later my bill has increased 48%, and this leak still exist.
If this leak continues, it will create a sinkhole, and our water company is refusing to fix this isssue. I’m two houses away from this leak, and have a increased bill, but they want me to believe I used this amount when none of their records show I’ve ever used this amount. They want me to believe it’s a residential issue, but it’s affecting my home that’s 2 houses away. This could be dangerous, and far more costly if this leak continues. I’m afraid it will create a sinkhole, and that sinkhole could bring damages to our homes in the future. They seem to make this determination without digging to properly evaluate where the leak is coming from. The address that closes to this leak is 1802 Capron St 77020.
