Deskripsyon

On the block between Rosewood Ave. & Russell St. between Clifton and Woodhill Rd., there are at least 3 roosters crowing at all times of day, especially early in the morning. Hen houses are fine, but roosters in a tightly packed city neighborhood is not cool. I don't want to get anyone in trouble--I just want to not be woken up by roosters every day.

Call animal control 203 946-8110 but keep in mind the owner of the rooster will probably know who did.

I was under the impression that roosters were not allowed in residential areas. And that people were only allowed to have up to 6 chickens. Correct me if I'm wrong

When I lived on Hillside Ave, our neighbor had a rooster. Same thing - crowing at all hours! I started with the alderperson and went 'up the ladder' from there! I remember it did take awhile, but eventually the rooster went bye-bye.

XYZ - I've been out of that house for over 2 years, and the rooster happened a couple of years before I moved! I don't remember! Sorry.
