Description
This sidewalk is impassible for someone in a wheelchair. There is no way around it, except to go around the entire block. It appears this is a city-owned tree, but I am not sure how to find out if it is. We have bought a new home on West Grand Avenue and my mother is in a wheelchair. Please help us do something about the lack of safety and accessibility on West Grand Avenue.

I see this issue was reported over 2 years ago and nothing has been done. This is a city owned tree and therefore the responsibility for the sidewalk damage belongs to the city of Oakland, not the property owner. Please let me know when this dangerous issue will be resolved. Thank you!
