Request for Bike to Work Day (PLEASE SEE EXACT DETAILS IN SEPARATE EMAIL):
• There will be 5 energizer stations around the City (same ones as last year –pictures showing locations attached):
1. College of Alameda (NW corner of Atlantic and Webster)
2. Bay Farm/Ped Bridge (On Main island side - see red circle in photo)
3. Peet's Coffee (Park and Central)
4. Harbor Bay Ferry (Near the bike lockers)
5. Main Street Ferry (Near the terminal entrance)
• Each Energizer Station needs:
• 2 tables (8-foot)
• 2 chairs
• 1 set of ClearStream racks/bags/signage/etc (one each for trash, compost and recycling)
• Tues 5/08, end of day: Put up no parking signs at Park & Central: I put in a SCF for this, Lucity: #18-04-0206.
• Weds 5/09, PICK UP: ARPD will provide ALL of the needed item (ten tables, ten chairs, and five sets of ClearStream receptacles, etc). Please arrange a time to meet him on May 9 for pick up.
• Weds 5/09, PICK UP: From Alameda Bicycle (1522 Park St), a 10-foot portable bike rack for delivery to Peets Energizer Station (Park/Central) on Thursday (with other items). Make arrangements for pick-up time in advance with George Stephens, Alameda Bicycle (510-522-0070 (shop)).
• Thurs 5/10, by 5:30am, DROP OFF: One set of the listed items needs to be dropped off at each of the five energizer station locations on May 10, by 5:30am. Volunteers at the Energizer Stations can set up the tables and receptacles.
• Thurs 5/10, after 9:30am, PICK UP: Pick up all items from each of the five energizer station locations after 9:30am. Place trash, recycling and compost in appropriate receptacles at City Hall West (or Corp Yard). Drop off all items to ARPD – please arrange timing with Pat.
Drop off bike rack back at Alameda Bicycle on 5/10.
