Description

The city has filled it a few times before over the years, the water rushes down the street and over our sidewalk at 158 East Main Street on Corner of Highland Ave in the square (where the fire hydrant is). An insurance inspector for our building sent us a report a while ago saying "the damaged sections of the public sidewalk located at end of the driveway should be repaired to reduce the possibility of someone tripping or falling". Kids walk to the bus stops (two bus stops) and folks are always walking around, and in and out of the driveway as it is an easement. I do believe maybe some gravel or something was put in there the last time we put in a ticket, and then the ticket was closed. Within a week the hole was open again...hoping some more attention could be given to the problem other than being filled with some gravel? Thank you so much.
