we have the same problem in our neighborhood, West Fairmount, they go at least 50 or more mph in residential neighborhood, also motorcycles no helmets, one of these days a little kids going to run out in the road after a toy or pet and get killed.then it will be to late to slow down! AND TURN DOWN THAT DARN RADIO YOU CALL MUSIC WE CAN HEAR IT IN THE HOUSE WITH WINDOWS CLOSED...

I experience the same exact thing here on Virginia. I even stop a guy with 5 small children in the car and he wanted to know who the hell I thought I was to tell him how to drive on my street. I told him I was a guy that protected his kids with 2 big dogs and a 12 gauge. At this point he decided it might be best to leave and I haven't seen that white explorer since.
After 20 years living in the same house you only can tolerate so much.

When I originally posted this I was expecting a better responds but as it is the street walkers have slowed quite a bit. The speeders are still at it and as a result a couple of months ago my nephew park across the street from my house and got nail by a speeder which pushed his truck 100 feet down the street. The driver got out and ran and unfortunetly his truck was stolen. Now my nephew has $7,000 worth of damage to his truck.
I really wish I could come up with some kind of solution to this problem. Any suggestion?

I posted this 2 years ago and although some of the hookers and dope dealing has sloowed since the County took over.(Who are doing a great job to say the least!) Speeding vehicles are still a big problem in the late afternoon when our kids are getting out of school. I wish I could figure out a way to stop this before somebody gets hurt.

I just made a complaint on here as well about the DANGEROUS SPEEDER's! These people are acting like these side streets are I-75, Ignoring street sign's, etc. Please vote on my post too (Price & Longfellow is I-75) Is the title! THIS HAS GOT TO BE STOPPED FAST B4 SOMEONE, CHILD, ANIMAL IS KILLED!
