This is also the most ridiculous roadblock. I work at primary children’s hospital, and it took me over a half hour just to exit from the parking structure. Not even to exit onto Mario Capacchei. There has to be something done around rush-hour traffic, even if police have to come out and move traffic along. I am not spending 30 to 40 minutes every day just getting out of the parking structure.

Those of us that live NORTH of work would like to request the opening of East Federal Heights Drive until that portion of the road is worked on, to allow drivers to head home along 11th avenue, or use Virginia Street.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us about your commute and difficulty exiting campus. Traffic along Mario Capecchi has improved, but delays are still likely. As of now, a westbound lane of North Campus Drive is open and available for down-campus traffic. This is a temporary solution, but has helped improve afternoon traffic.

Access to Federal Heights Way will remain closed. New traffic patterns will be announced next week that should help relieve the project.
