MPD is responsible for enforcing parking violations on Sundays

This is especially gauling since at the most recent ANC CDC meeting discussion parking this EXACT and SPECIFIC incident and locaton was discussed about AME church parishianers parking in the bike lane and the safety issues for bikers. Please do have MPD ticket each of the vehicles ($60 fine for parking in bike lane, $100 for driving in bike lane).

Seems to be an unwritten "hands off" policy in DC when it comes to ticketing cars parked illegally on Sundays in the vacinity of churches....they should have the same opportunity to get ticketed as the rest of us. And most of the Sunday illegally parked cars have out of state lisc. plates!!!???

Today, two weeks later, there are ten vehicles parked in the bike lane. Who can fix this chronic Sunday AM violation?
